“The King’s Quarry,” Rosso Francia has a storied history, and has been sought for use in architecture, tile and marquetry since ancient times. Red Languedoc marble, which became known as “Rossi di Francia” during the Renaissance, was used extensively in royal buildings and throughout the Palace of Versailles during the reign of Louis XIV. Today Rosso Francia is used exclusively for both important historic restorations and dramatic luxury interiors around the world. We’re pleased to offer a fine selection of Rosso Francia in a mixed finish beveled 4″ x 12″ tile, honed 12″ x 24″ field tile, and a 3CM straight joint mosaic.
